LIFE HISTORY FOR BECKY WALSH
Raymond and Diane (Kreminski) Dietz became parents of a beautiful baby girl on October 27, 1954 in Minneapolis, MN. They named her Rebecca Rosanne and she was one of four daughters born to this union. When the family moved to Alexandria in 1970, Becky attended and then graduated from Jefferson High School with the Class of 1972. On August 17, 1974 Becky and Ken Walsh were married at St. Mary's Church in Alexandria. Becky worked for twenty years as a waitress at Park Lane Supper Club near Carlos State Park. After raising her family, Becky took a job at Thrifty White Drug in Alexandria. She would work there for over twenty-one years and was in charge of their gift department.
Becky was so happy to become a grandmother and loved caring for her grandchildren, especially when they were babies. She also had a creative flair and enjoyed doing various craft projects, especially pottery and crocheting. She was an excellent cook, liked to read and also raised a beautiful flower garden each season. She enjoyed nature and being outdoors, whether tending her chickens or just watching the kids and her dogs play. Becky was a kind and thoughtful person who made others feel welcome and at ease. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, especially her husband of 42 years, Ken Walsh of Alexandria; her three children and spouses, Emily (Troy) Wolf of Eagle Bend, Dustin (Theresa) Walsh of Brainerd, A.J. (Kelsie) Walsh of Glenwood; 12 grandchildren, Anna, Marcus, Grant, Nicholas, Dillon, Averi, Mason, Saphira, Jett, Jack, Seren and Titus; her mother, Diane Dietz of Alexandria; sisters, Linda Elias of Brandon, Marilyn Dietz of Hopkins and Ginnie (Scott) Olson of Alexandria; many nieces and nephews.
