This beautiful child of God, Clare Glenetske , left her parents, Christopher and Louisa and their family unexpectedly on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, MN to return to Heaven after a mishap while swimming.
Clare Kathleen entered the world on January 25, 2017 in Alexandria, MN and was joyously welcomed by her parents and four older siblings. She quickly won over the hearts of her family and had no problem becoming the center of everyone’s attention. She was a beautiful child with bright, red hair and a spit-fire personality. As soon as she could walk, she was following her siblings (especially sister, Ruby) and copying their every move. Clare was gifted with an amazing imagination and even at her young age would change the tone of her voice and add facial expressions to become whatever new character she chose. She had a happy disposition and a natural ability to bring a smile and warm a heart. She liked to draw and left them all sorts of artwork. Clare didn’t need brushes and paints to create her little masterpieces, for they even found them scratched with a rock on the family car. To the delight of her family, she could always be heard singing or showing off her dancing talents. The gift of Clare’s life will be forever treasured and the love and joy she brought into the world will continue to spread by the many acts of kindness done in her memory.
Her light will shine forever in the hearts of her parents, Christopher and Louisa (Maus) Glenetske of Osakis; her siblings, Lucy, Isabel, Thomas and Ruby; maternal grandparents, Rita and Dennis Maus of Osakis; paternal grandparents, Kathleen Glenetske of Bowler, WI and Mark Glenetski of Waupaca, WI; maternal great grandmother, Ruby Maus of Osakis and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation for Clare will be held on Friday, July 31 from 5 – 8 pm at the St. John Vianney Parish Hall, 18910 Ellipse Loop, Long Prairie, MN, with a parish rosary to begin that evening at 8 pm. The family would like to invite everyone for an open house fellowship in memory of Clare on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020 at the Osakis VFW Post #7902 after the burial. Due to current regulations, the fellowship will be an open house style from 12-3 pm in order to accommodate everyone who wants to give their condolences to the family.
