Cynthia EVANS

Cynthia Evans, age 75 of Osakis passed away on Friday evening, January 11, 2008 at the Community Memorial Home in Osakis, MN.
Cynthia Ann Evans was born in Garden City Kansas to Harry Lee and Pauline (Carter) Evans. In 1949 she was married to Gene Schrader and they had two children, John and Diane. She lived in Riverton Wyoming, operating a floral business. Following her divorce she moved to Sacramento CA and worked in hospitals in Sacramento and Berkley CA before her retirement in 1998. Cynthia moved to Osakis MN following her retirement to be closer to her sister, Sonya Olson.
Cynthia was a talented musician who played church organ for over 48 years. After she moved to Osakis she was organist at the Church of the Good Samaritan, Sauk Centre MN. Cynthia was also a talented artist.
She is survived by her children, John Schrader of California and Diane Schrader of Colorado, one granddaughter, one sister Sonya (Newman) Olson of Osakis,: nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services are planned for early summer in Minnesota.
