Diane Maloney

Diane Maloney, age 67 passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020 at the Meeker Manor in Litchfield, MN.  Diane was born to Morris and Esther Oldenburg on June 7, 1953 in St. Cloud, MN.. She grew up in Paynesville and graduated with the Class of 1971 from Paynesville High School.  She worked for Jennie-O Foods in Willmar for many years and then at the plant in Litchfield.  When that plant closed, Diane transferred to the Jenni-O Foods in Melrose, MN and lived in Sauk Centre and then Osakis.  After suffering a stroke and the health issues it challenged her with, Diane moved back to Sauk Centre in 2009.  She was a member of the Osakis Lutheran Church when she lived in Osakis and also helped the community as a member of the Osakis Women's Association.  She was also on the Befriender committee at Osakis Lutheran.  She loved Lake Osakis and going fishing.  Diane also loved to collect things, especially her collection of all type of cows.  She kept busy during the winter months crocheting and browsing the world from her computer.

Diane is survived by her siblings, Douglas (Patricia) Oldenburg of Homer, NE, David (Sandra) Oldenburg of Foley, Daryl (Melodie) Oldenburg of Clearwater, Donna of Big Lake and Darlene (Gary) Walter of Stone Lake, WI; many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a niece, Christie Walter and her special companion, Earl Wells.
