JoAnn (White) Wild was born on September 22, 1942, in Tucson, Arizona to GFC and Corrine (Ayers) White. She worked as a patient advocate and coder for the University of Arizona for thirty-five years. JoAnn volunteered for hospice, as she had a passion for helping others.
She enjoyed sewing, puzzles, reading (especially her Bible), and being around her grandchildren.
JoAnn died on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Galeon in Osakis at the age of 80. She is survived by her son, Douglas (Cheryl) Wild of Mesa, AZ; daughter, Deborah (Mark) Sabrowsky of Osakis; six grandchildren, Lydia, Julia, Ceceilia, Sophia, Isaac, and Elizabeth; and nine great-grandchildren. JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, GFC and Corrine; brothers, Larry and Tommy; aunts, Dorothy Webb, Ruby Jones; and her grandparents.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church.
