Mildred Adrian

Mildred M. Adrian, age 79 of Osakis passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2006 at her daughter's home in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Mildred Marion Adrian was born on September 11, 1926 in Silver Creek, MN to Wallace and Lucy (Warner) Mumm. She was raised by Carl and Elizabeth (Warner) Johnson on a farm east of Sauk Centre, where she attended public school and worked at Brauns Bakery. She was united in marriage to Alfred Adrian on June 15, 1948 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Following their marriage they moved to So. St. Paul and in 1950, the Adrian's moved to the Osakis area where they farmed for over 50 years. Following her husband's death on March 14, 2005, Mildred moved to Punta Gorda, FL to live with her daughter, Trish and her family in a loving family setting where she enjoyed life to the fullest.
Mildred was a member of the Immaculate Conception parish in Osakis and belonged to the Christian Mothers and the Mission Group. She enjoyed gardening, canning, baking (especially birthday cakes), sewing dresses for her daughters, crocheting, reading, dancing and playing cards. Mildred enjoyed family get togethers, life in the country, raising chickens and working on the farm. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandma and sister who will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her five daughters, Bev Wolters of Andover, MN, Kathi (Mike) Housen of Golden Valley, MN, Janet (Randy) Hink of Buffalo, MN, Trish (Lex) Gnat of Punta Gorda, FL and Sharon (Jim) Dietrich of Osakis; a sister, Edna Koch of Carlton, MN and a brother, Leroy (Bernice) Johnson of Sauk Centre, MN; 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alfred and son-in-law, Paul Wolters.
Funeral services for Mildred are on Friday, August 18, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osakis with Fr. Dick McGuire officiating.
Readers are Bev Wolters and Jan Adrian Hink, with a eulogy given by Kathi Housen. Servers are Rose and Mary Dietrich and the giftbearers are Josh & Hannah Gnat and Cameron Wolters. Special music is going to be sung by Trish and Lex Gnat.
Interment is at the Calvary Cemetery in Osakis. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Housen, Randy Hink, Lex Gnat, Jim Dietrich, Ray Mikkelson, Tom Mikkelson, Vicki Mikkelson, Roger Sorenson, Orville Larson, Norma Larson and Selma Jung.
Active pallbearers are Travis Wolters, Joe Dietrich, Zachary Hink, Alysa Hink, James Adrian, Somer, Adriana, Bella and Sophia Housen and Vanessa Deal.
Arrangements are handled by the Roy-Hetland Funeral Home in Osakis,
