Patricia Didier

Patricia 'Pat' Didier, age 65 of Osakis left her earthly life on Saturday afternoon, May 18, 2013 surrounded by her family at the Community Memorial Home in Osakis, MN.
Patricia Ann Oehrlein was born on May 21, 1947 to Alois and Harriet (Steele) Oehrlein in St. Paul, MN. She was a graduate of St. Thomas High School in St. Paul and went to work as a sales clerk soon after graduation. In 1963 she married Harland Kunz and in December of 1978 Pat and her family moved to Osakis, MN when they purchased Sibell's Bait Shop. On November 23, 1985 she was united in marriage to Mike Didier.
Pat worked for several local businesses. She was employed by the Osakis Country Club, the First National Bank of Osakis and also did the bookkeeping for their family's personal and business accounts.
Besides staying busy working and raising her family, Pat also liked to relax by working out in her flower garden, playing cards, working on puzzles or taking a trip to the casino. She loved being with her family and going on trips. She was a meticulous housekeeper.
Pat is survived by her husband, Mike Didier of Osakis; children, Robert (Elaine) Kunz of Long Prairie, Brenda (Michael) Schmiesing of Sauk Centre, Becky (Scott) Kern of Sauk Centre, JuliaAnn Didier of Alexandria; 11 grandchildren, Travis and Tyler (Abby) Kunz, Krista, Andrew, Larissa, Lindy and Devan Fischer, Tanya and Stacey Kern, James and Christian Didier; 1 great grandson, Karter Kunz; siblings, Al Oehrlein of Spooner, WI, Mary Marcotte of Wyoming, MN, Katherine Oehrlein of Minneapolis, Gerald (Eileen) Oehrlein of Trenton, NJ, Michael (Deeanne) Oehrlein of Sauk Centre, Sheila Erickson of White Bear Lake, MN; many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents and an infant brother, Jeffrey Oehrlein in 1966.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 23 at 10:30 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osakis with Fr. Dave Petron officiating. Inurnment is at the Lakeside Cemetery in Osakis.
