Patricia Thimmesh

Patricia (Mrs. Philip) Thimmesh, who recently celebrated her 76th birthday, passed away on Saturday, October 3rd at her home in Belen, New Mexico. She had moved to Belen in 2008 to be near her family. Patricia had formerly lived in Gordon Township near Osakis, M.N.
Patricia was born in Wallace, Idaho to Bill and Madelyn (Keyes) Bond. Pat met Philip Thimmesh in Wallace and they were married there on September 22, 1951. Pat and Philip lived in several locations from the time they were married until they moved to New Mexico in 1988. She worked in hospitals and nursing homes in many of the places they lived, including Alexandria and Long Prairie, MN, Colorado Springs, CO, and Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. She lived near Truth or Consequences for 20 years and retired from the New Mexico Veterans Center in 1999. Her nursing career spanned more than 50 years. She will be remembered by many because of her help and caring for friends and family members. Pat enjoyed flower gardening, playing bingo, and seeing
her great-grandson.
Patricia is survived by two daughters Madlyn (Thomas) Juarez of Los Lunas, New Mexico, Jennifer (David) Black of Tulsa, Oklahoma, two granddaughters Sarah (Ryan) Page of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Teresa Juarez of Houston, Texas. She also had one great grandson, Carson Ryan Page. In addition, she is survived by her beloved sisters and brothers-in-law, Corrine (Ted) Shide, Carolyn Thimmesh, Margaret (Dave) McWilliams, Donald (Hilary) Thimmesh and Ronald (Sue) Thimmesh and many nieces and nephews.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Philip who died Dec. 31, 1989, her parents, sister, and brother.
A Mass of Resurrection was held for Patricia on Friday, October 9th at 2:00 pm with Fr. Hilary Thimmesh officiating. Interment was at the Calvary Cemetery in Osakis next to her husband, Philip. Pallbearers were Thomas Juarez, David Black, Ryan Page, Dale Massmann, Gary Mikkelson,_____________.
Arrangements were handled by Riverside Funeral Home in Belen, New Mexico and Roy-Hetland Funeral Home in Osakis, Minnesota.
