Patricia Zarbok

Patricia 'Trish' Zarbok, age 69 of Villard, passed into the peace of Heaven on Saturday morning, December 11, 2010 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN.
On January 18, 1941 in Madison, WI a beautiful baby girl was born to Robert and Jeanette (Wheeler) Baker. Trish graduated from Elmwood High School in Wisconsin and was married to Leon Sabelko on August 31, 1958. They moved to St. Croix Beach, MN and besides raising her family, worked as a seamstress for a drapery company and also as a cook at Anderson Windows headquarters. She also did retail sales at the Stillwater Mall and housekeeping for an area hotel and retirement village/nursing home.
On May 16, 1981, Trish married Milton Zarbok in Nashua, IA. The couple made their home in St. Croix Beach until 1996 when they moved to Villard. Trish worked as a cook at the Parkview Court Assisted Living Facility. Some of her favorite pastimes included tending her flowers, going bowling or dancing, and just finding a comfortable chair in which to do a crossword puzzle or read a book.
Trish is survived by her husband, Milton Zarbok of Villard; children, Terrance (Vanessa) Sabelko of Stillwater, Barbara (Jeremy) Beedle of Beldenville, WI, Susan Sabelko of Stillwater, Anthony (Kim) Sabelko of Oakdale, MN; stepchildren, Audrey (Robert) Wiley of Hilliard, FL, Greg Zarbok of Villard, Daniel Zarbok of Littleton, CO, Laura (Wolfgang) Gerdes of Alexandria, Brenda (Richard) Schrodetzki of Thousand Oaks, CA and Sharon Pedersen of Alexandria; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Beverly) Baker of Pepin, WI, and a sister-in-law, Mae Baker of Harmony, MN.
Preceding her in death are her parents, a stepfather, Gerald Doughty, a grandson, Justin Gerdes, great grandson, Dylan Miller; brothers, William and Bobby Baker.
Funeral services will be held for Trish on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010 at 1:00 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church in Villard with Rev. Joshua Heimbuck officiating. Organist is Joyce Volkmann and soloist is Rich Schrodetzki. Interment is at the Lake Amelia Cemetery in Villard with active pallbearers Eric Gerdes, Sean Sabelko, Larry Baker, Mitch Zarbok, Lonnie Hoium and Daniel Zarbok. Honorary bearers are the members of the Villard American Legion Auxiliary, the Osakis VFW Auxiliary and Villard Red Hats club.
