Sharon Mary Weitzel was born at home on September 15, 1940 in St. Paul Park, MN to David and Mae (Marty) Weitzel. She was a graduate of Par-Ki School. After school, Sharon worked as a bank teller. Sharon was united in marriage to Clifford Euerle on September 12, 1959 at the United Congregational Church in Cottage Grove. They moved to the Villard area and Sharon did secretarial work for C. F. Sharon volunteered many hours working with the Multiple Sclerosis Society doing charity fundraising.
Sharon was a talented and ambitious woman with many various interests. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, making silk flower arrangements, knitting, painting ceramics and various other craft projects. She was an excellent cook and her kitchen was filled with the many cookie jars she had collected over the years. During the winter months she kept busy making puzzles, playing scrabble or solving Sudoku puzzles. Her greatest happiness however came from spending time with her family and many grandchildren. Family was very important to her and Sharon was always instrumental in organizing the family reunions. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and sister who will be dearly missed. As Sharon was a caring and giving person in life, she continued that spirit even at her death through the gift of an organ/tissue donation. Blessed be her memory.
